Background

TMRS, comprised of market researchers, social researchers and users of market research, is aimed at promoting and upgrading the market research industry in Thailand to international levels.
TMRS is a professional association encouraging high standards of practice, and protecting the rights of market researchers and users of market research.
TMRS serves as Thailand's representative in coordinating and building the market research industry in Thailand.
TMRS has no political affiliations.
TMRS is a non-profit association.

Objectives

To promote and protect the professional interests both of its members engaged in market research, and of these who are users of their market research services
To encourage the flow of ideas and techniques between all branches of the market research profession, to raise standards of quality and technique among those working in the industry in Thailand, and to educate beginners and those outside the profession in the applications and values of professional standards of market research
To monitor that the Standard Code of Conduct of the Marketing Research Society of Thailand covers, in addition to professional ethics, conditions for conducting professional and scientific surveys and reporting of results to meet recognized international quality standards , is observed by all TMRS Corporate Foundation member companies
To maintain liaison with government organizations, universities, scientific institutions and other relevant organizations
